Vietnamese ceramic outdoor planters
Almost everything in our store comes from Mexico. Our Vietnamese ceramic outdoor planters are the exception: they come from Vietnam, where potters fire a dense clay at very high temperatures. The result is one of the strongest planters you can buy, thick-walled and built to handle Texas sun, storms and the occasional freeze. See the full story on our Vietnamese ceramic outdoor planters page.
Mexican clay and terracotta
Classic Mexican clay pots are breathable and earthy, great for herbs, succulents and native plants that like to dry out between waterings.
Talavera pots
For color and detail, nothing beats hand-painted Talavera. Many customers mix one Talavera planter with a group of solid glazed pots.
Choosing the right size
Go bigger than you think. Large pots hold more soil, so plants stay moist longer in July. Bring the measurements of your space and we will help you pick.
