Catrina Day of the Dead figures at YESimports Austin

Catrinas and Día de los Muertos

La Catrina, the elegant skeleton in a wide hat, started as an illustration by José Guadalupe Posada and became a symbol of the Day of the Dead. Our Catrinas and skeleton figures come in many sizes and outfits, from musicians to brides.

They are perfect for an ofrenda, a shelf or as a gift, and we bring in more as the season approaches every fall.

Hand-painted animals

Ceramic hummingbirds, roosters, turtles and other animals, painted in bright patterns. The hummingbird is a favorite, a symbol of joy and good luck in Mexican tradition.
