Made from wood with a past

Artisans in Mexico build these pieces from reclaimed wood, antique doors and aged timber. They treat the wood and keep the woodworm marks, nail holes and worn edges. Many pieces also carry hand-forged iron pulls, studs or hammered copper panels.

At home

Put a console under the TV, use a trunk as a coffee table, or set a spindle bench in the entryway. These photos show a few of our pieces styled in a home.

From the workshop

These photos come straight from the workshop, before the pieces shipped to Austin. Each piece is one of a kind, so the one you see here may already be sold. Call (512) 704-6318 to ask what is in the store.

Caring for reclaimed wood

Keep the furniture indoors or under a covered porch, out of the rain. Dust it with a dry cloth and wax it once or twice a year.

Hacienda furniture: common questions

Is each piece one of a kind?

Yes. Artisans build every piece by hand from reclaimed wood, antique doors or aged timber, so no two are the same.

What pieces do you carry?

Cabinets, consoles and TV stands, trunks, coffee tables, dining tables, desks, bars, shelves and benches. Stock changes, so call (512) 704-6318 to check what is in the store.

Are the woodworm marks a problem?

No. The wood is treated, and the woodworm markings are part of the character of each piece.

Can I use hacienda furniture outdoors?

Keep it indoors or under a covered patio. Rain and direct sun dry out and crack reclaimed wood.
